Siena and San Gimignano tour

Discovering two pearls of Tuscany!

Siena and San Gimignano tour

Siena is a striking medieval city built on the top of a hill.

Listed as a Unesco world heritage site, it develops around Piazza del Campo, the heart of the city, an exclusive «shell shaped» square where the worldwide known Palio horse ride takes place. Palazzo Comunale, Torre del Mangia and Fonte Gaia are the beauties that overlook this marvellous square.
But many other masterpieces of art and architecture are waiting to be admired at a very short walking distance from the square: the Duomo of Siena, the museums, the Church of Santa Caterina and the Medici Fortress.

San Gimignano is a small medieval town situated 35’ north from Siena.

It is the most characteristic of the Tuscan villages, with its imposing towers that dominate the landscape and that have remained miraculously intact over the centuries.
It is particularly evocative. You can walk along the Via Francigena, one of the oldest pilgrim routes of the world, or get lost in the narrow streets of this charming little town full of typical artisan shops.
In the suggestive atmosphere of its historical center you will also be able to taste the most famous local white wine, the Vernaccia.
